Answer : When plants and animals die , their bodies get decomposed and get mixed with the soil. The decomposed plants and animal called Humus . Humus is dark brown in colour. It is very good for the growth of plants. Humus makes the soil rich in minerals and fertility . Humus are made of dead plants and dead animal bodies when both are decomposed and get mixed with soil they are called humus.
