Hybridization is the crossing of dissimilar individuals to produce best of both organisms. It might be of interbreeding between individuals of different species (interspecific hybridization) or genetically divergent individuals from the same species (intraspecific hybridization). One advantage of hybridization is that it can combine disease resistance of one organism with the production capacity of another. Crop yields increase dramatically when hybridization is used to exceed one or more of the parents in size and reproductive potential

hybridisation is a idea that atomic orbitals fuse newly hybridised orbirals , which inturn , influences molecular geometry and bonding property . Hybridisation is also an expansion of the valence bond theory .
