hybridization is the combination of orbitals of almost same energy to form hybrid orbitals of same energy which explains the geometry of a molecule. it can be calculated by number of valence electron of Central atom+mono valent side atom whole divided by 2
hybridization of NH3 IS 5+3/2=4 =sp3

hybridisation is a phenomenon of intermixing of atomic orbitals of almost equal energy which are present in the outer shells of the atoms and their reshulfing or redistribution into the same number of orbitals but with equal properties like energy and shape..

I hope it's help u :-)
