Hydrated salts are salts with water in them.

Their general formula is:

XXXX.nH2O , Where XXXX is the formula of the salt.

Example:

uranyl nitate hexahydrated - UO2(NO3)2.6H2O

the actul definition of hydrated salt is 

:-salts that have absorbed water ,attached to them .they are the Salts with water of crystalisation .

but oocrding to chemistry it has been said that 

:-it is a  molecule that is loosely attached to a certain number of water molecules.
