Pollination by water is known as Hydrophilly .

There are two types of Hydrophilly:-

1) Epihydrophilly- pollination above the surface of water.

Example- Vallisneria

-Ribbonweed/tapgrass

-Diecious

-Fresh water plant

-Water submerged

2)Hypohydrophilly- pollination beneath the surface of water.

Example-Zostera( See grass)

-water submerged

-monoecious
