Answer:

Hyperconjugation is the stabilising interaction that results from the interaction of the electrons in a σ-bond (usually C-H or C-C) with an adjacent empty or partially filled p-orbital or a π-orbital to give an extended molecular orbital that increases the stability of the system.

HYPER-CONJUGATION-

  • It is also called no bond resonance.
  • Generally it is a property of alpha- hydrogen.
  • Resonance generally stronger than hyper-conjugation.
  • It is a permanent effect like resonance.
  • It is distance independent like resonance.
  • More is the alpha C-H bond, more is the no bond resonance, more is the no bond resonating energy, more is the stability.

Alpha Carbon-

》 Alpha carbon is the carbon which connect from sp2 hybrid carbon.

Alpha Hydrogen-

》Alpha hydrogen is the hydrogen which connect from sp3 hybrid carbon.

Types of hyper-conjugation:

》+H and -H group.

》 +H group is known as electron donating group

(E.Dg).

》 -H group is know as electron withdrowing group(E.Wg).

》In +H group effect we talk about carbon hydrogen bond (C-H)bond.

》In -H group effect we talk about carbon chlorine bond (C-Cl)bond.
