Good question,

Here is your perfect answer!

An eye defect in which a person can able to see distant objects while can't able to see near by objects is known as hypermetropia.

This is also known as long slightedness.

Reasons:

1) Elongation of lens,
2) lens becomes less converging.

It can be corrected by using convex lens

to make eye len's more converging.

animesh1724: its image formed beyond retina.
tanishq972003: and we know when focal length increases power decrease. so to maintain the power of eye we use convex lens which have +ve power so it balances the power
Rajendrapaswan: It is a disease related to the eyes. In this disease, the bedmint is visible but it does not pass,

HYPERMETROPIA

It is a defect of eye in which a person can see farther object clearly but it can't see near object clearly.

It is caused because of following reasons:→

✴ When the image of object forms behind the ratina.

✴ because of elongation of eye lens

Its corrections

It is corrected using a convex lens or simply called converging lens.

Convex lens is adjusted such that so the image is formed on the ratina.
