only a right triangle consists of a hypotenuse. A hypotenuse is the side of a triangle except the two sides which make a right angle.
square of 24= 24x24=576
square of 19= 19x19=316
now,
576+316=892.
this is the final answer.

Hypotenuse of a right angled triangle is the side joining base and altitude.

You can find the hypotenuse of a triangle by using pythagoras theorem.

If two sides(base and altitude) are 24 and 19,
base = 24
altitude = 19
hypotenuse=h

h² = b² + a²
⇒ h² = 24² + 19²
⇒ h² = 576 + 361
⇒ h² = 937
⇒ h = √937

So hypotenuse is √937
