What is hypotonic , hypertonic and isotonic. What are the differences between these three ?

Answer: 2 Solutions having same osmotic pressure or concentration are said to be isotonic.

Among 2 solutions, if one has higher and the other has lower concentration or osmotic pressures, the solution with higher OP/conc is said to be HYPERTONIC while the other solution is HYPOTONIC.
