Ignition temperature refers to the minimum temperature at which a substance that is flammable such air or gas, must be heated before it begins burning without the source of the heat. This temperature is a major determinant in setting the safety standards for low volatile products such as lubricating oil, diesel oil and fuel oil.

hello!

Ignition temperature is the temperature to which a substance should be heated before combustion occurs. A fuel like coal or wood would start burning if they are heated to their ignition temperature.

hope It helps... :)
