IIT IS INDIAN INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY AND IF YOU HAVE UR INTREST IN ENGINEERING THAN ITS THE GR8 APPROACH AND U CAN JOIN ANY IIT BY CLEARING JEE ADVANCE AND EVEN FOR CLEARING JEE ADVANCE YOU HAVE TO GIRST CLEAR JEE MAINS ..THERE ARE 2 CHANCES FOR MAINS AND 3 FOR ADVANCE !!SO IF U SCORED GOOD THEN YOU WILL BE SELECTED FOR IT AND WILL GET THE BRANCH IN THE GOOD COLLEGE ACC .TO UR MARKS ..BASICALLY IIT IS AN ENGINNERING COLLEGE

you should crack JEE with certain rank or marks to get admission in it and some iiit have their own entrance exam.... on basis of that you get selected into it.... they give you good job placement
