immunization refers to the process of acquiring immunity(vaccine)against any disease.
the basis of immunization is that the dead or weak disease of the same kind is injected in your body due to which your body produces antibodies which fight the weak disease and remain in the body for a short time(say 6 months)
If in the course of time the similar type of disease comes in contact to ur body then the antibodies present inside fight the disease with great efficiency .
the term immunization was coined by sir Louis Pasture(this process is also called pasteurization......
