Solution :-

1) Integration attempts should be made to bring them in mainstream society without destroying their distinctive identity.

2) Rights of tribal communities to say 'no' to acquisition of their land and to access and manage forests should be recognized

3) No tribal land should be alienated without the consent of the tribal gram sabha

Government should try to understand what is their (tribal’s) idea of development rather

than just imposing the one and should focus on community participation in each

and every developmental process

Answer:

Impacts of displacement on life of adivasis who now live in urban areas are:

1. Relocation and rehabilitation: They do not get a proper place to live. The promises made by the authorities to provide them with suitable conditions remain unfulfilled

2. Jobs: Due to lack of skill, work environment etc they are either unable to land jobs or end up working as unskilled workers in unorganised sector.

3. Adapt: They find it difficult to adjust to the fast moving life of urban areas. Plus the environment is quiet unlike the one which they were used to living in.
