NERVOUS TISSUE:-
The electrical impulses are acquired by the short branched structure called dentrile. The dentrile carry the impulse to the cell body. It has a nucleus surrounded by cytoplasm. Through the cell body the impulses get transfered through an elongated chain like structure called Axion. When the When the electric impulses reach the end of the Axion it gets converted into chemical impulses and later the impulses get transferred to the nerve endings and passed to the next neuron. The gap between the two neurons are called Synapse.
In short the important fiction of nervous tissue is:-
It helps in transmitting the stimuli very rapidly from one place to another within the body.
