\underline\mathtt{What \: is \: Impulse ?}

When you apply a force for a certain amount of time, you create an impulse.

Impulse equals the force applied multiplied by the time it was applied.

HERE'S THE EQUATION:-

Impulse = Ft

A free-body diagram is a representation of an object with all the forces that act on it. The external environment (other objects, the floor on which the object sits, etc.), as well as the forces that the object exerts on other objects, are omitted in a free-body diagram.

The Free-body diagram is a sketch of an object of interest with all surroundings stripped away & all the forces acting on the body shown.

Impulse is the change of momentum of an object when the object is acted upon by a force for an interval of time.
