1. When we think of a nation or a region, think of other equally important attributes besides average income. If per capita income were to be used as the measure of development, some countries will be considered the most developed and some countries, the least developed. But we should look at other criteria too. The other criteria may be the birth rate, death rate, literacy rate, net attendance ratio, etc.
