ANSWER:-

INCOMPLETE DOMINANCE:-

☆ Incomplete Dominance was studied by Karl Correns.

☆ It was studied in Antirrhinum Majus.

Antirrhinum Majus is also called Snap Dragon or Dog Flower.

☆ This gene interaction is a deviation from Mendel's Fundamental Principles.

☆ When a cross is made between a dominant and recessive, the F1 offsprings do not show dominant traits.

☆ The offsprings are an intermediate between the dominant and recessive, hence it is called incomplete dominance.

☆ The phenotypic and genotypic ratios are same in the case of incomplete dominance, that is 1:2:1.

Two alleles are needed to express the complete dominant traits.
