➡ The space between the text and left or right margin within a document is called as "Indentation". It is just like we wrote in notebook by giving spaces. It is used to increase the clarity in document . It makes a document attractive.

✴ There are "four types" of indents available in MS word :-

1. Left indent :- This is the space between the "paragraph" and the "left margin".

2. Right indent :- This is the space between the "paragraph" and the "right margin".

3. First line indent :- It's used for "first line" of a paragraph in document.

4. Hanging indent :- It's used to define position of the text lines "below first line" of the paragraph.
