The induced current is that the current which is produced in the wire windings of the motor due to the magnetic field present in it. The current is generated in the wiring by Faraday's law of induction. The current in the wire can have two possible directions. Fleming's right-hand rule gives which direction the current flows.

A current produced in a conductor due to the change in the magnetic field linked with it is
called induced current.
Fleming’s right hand rule : Stretch the first three fingers of the right hand, mutually perpendicular to each other such that the fore-finger gives the direction of the magnetic field and the thumb points the direction of the motion of a conductor. Then, the middle finger will give the direction of the induced current.
