There are two main types of economies in the human society,

1) Agricultural economy.

2) Manufacturing economy.

Now,in the urban areas,the manufacturing economy is slowly dominating the agricultural economy due to many reasons.

This dominance of the manufacturing economy is known as the industrialization.

This is mainly observed in the urban areas and the urbanisation is a major reason behind this industrialization.
