\huge\bold\purple{Hallo}

Inertia is the inability of a body to change its state of rest, motion and direction.

Inertia is of three types-:

•Inertia of rest

•Inertia of motion

•Inertia of direction

Inertia depends on the mass of an object

If the mass is high then the inertia will also be high.

Newton's First Law of Motion explains how inertia affects moving and non-moving objects. Newton's first law states that an object will remain at rest or move at a constant speed in a straight line unless it is acted on by an unbalanced force.Objects with more mass have more inertia.

Answer:

Inertia is the inability of a body to change its state of rest, motion and direction.

Law of inertia, also called Newton's first law, postulate in physics that, if a body is at rest or moving at a constant speed in a straight line, it will remain at rest or keep moving in a straight line at constant speed unless it is acted upon by a force.
