Mass is that quantity that is solely dependent upon theinertia of an object. The moreinertia that an object has, the more mass that it has. A more massive object has a greater tendency to resist changes in its state of motion.

Hii dear,
# Inertia-
- It's property of the body that resist changes in its motion.
- That is, a body at rest will remain at rest and a body with constant speed will keep moving.
# Measure of inertia-
- There is no direct measure for inertia. But, certainly mass is directly proportional to inertia.
Inertia ∝ mass
- Also in rotational motion,
Inertia ∝ (radius of rotation)^2.
Hope, that helps you...
