are called infectious diseases and they can spread from one person to another through

air,water,direct contact,sexual contact etc.

example :- cough , common cold , aids

non- infectious disease are diseases which do not spread from an organism to another

through any medium. they are sometimes referred as some disturbances in the body of an individual like a sprain in the ankle or a fracture in the bone or poor vision at night (which is caused by deficiency of vitamin A)

examples :- high/low blood pressure , fracture , cancer , respiratory disease etc.
