Infinity is a string which you can never see the end of, no matter where you are and no matter how long you look. Really, there are a lot of different ways to try to explain it. I just chose to put it in terms of length. Infinity is not something we can define intuitively since to define something in such a way is to limit that idea to its definition. Thus, we can only analogise infinity and never define it in independent terms
