What is infrared technology:

Infrared technology uses Infrared waves to communicate with two devices and to transfer files bidirectionally. It usually communicates with a light pulse. Infrared light has lower frequency than the light which is visible to us. This technology is quite different from Bluetooth technology. Infrared technology can connect only two devices at a time. One is the Infrared waves transmitter and the other one is receiver. These rays if blocked by any disturbance, do not work
