DescriptionInfrasound, sometimes referred to as 'low-frequency sound', describes sound waves with a frequency below the lower limit of audibility. Hearing becomes gradually less sensitive as frequency decreases, so for humans to perceive infrasound, the sound pressure must be sufficiently high.
