Some plants eat insects.Such plants are called insectivorous plants.They trap and digest insects.Pitcher plant is an example of insectivorous plant.The leaves are modified into pitcher like structure.The bright colour of pitcher plant attracts insects. towards it.Thus it gets its nutrition from insects.Other examples of insectivorous plants are venus flytrap,round leaf sundew etc.
