Inside the atom's nucleus neutron and proton are present which are combinedly called as nucleons and these nucleons are arranged in a manner of pnpnpnp to reduce the repulsion between protons.

The electrons are present outside the atom's nucleus in the shells which are named as K , L , M , N.
