The numbers and fractions which are in the form of negative and positive is called integer.Some examples are - 1,7,-6,-9.

a group of whole number ,negative number is called integer

but it can't a fraction or in the form of p/q

example

like -2,23 -4,4 they all are integer because are negative and whole not other then that
