Answer:

Interconversion of states of matter means the the matter interconverts or interchange it's physical state without disturbing it's chemical properties on providing physical conditions such as temperature and pressure. for eg- the solid state converts into the liquid on raising temperature. and liquid condenses to solid on decreasing the temperature. similarly condensation of gas to liquid and evaporation of liquid to gas and sublimation is solid to gas or vice versa all are examples of interconversion of states of matter.

Answer:

Matter can change from one form to other form i.e from solids to liquids to gases. The phenomenon of the change of matter from one state to another and back to original state is known as interconversion of the sates of matter. Matter can be changed from one state to another by changing temperature or pressure.

Freezing: the substance changes from a liquid to a solid. Melting: the substance changes back from the solid to the liquid. Condensation: the substance changes from a gas to a liquid. ... Sublimation: the substance changes directly from a solid to a gas without going through the liquid phase.
