Inter-cropping = It is the practice of growing two or more crops simultaneously on the field in a definite row pattern. A few rows of one crop alternate with a few rows of the second crop. So, it is an improved version of mixed cropping.

Examples : Wheat + Gram, Soyabean + Maize, Bajara + Lobia etc.
