♣️When 2 light waves superpose with each other in such away that the crest of one wave falls on the crest of the second wave, and trough of one wave falls on the trough of the second wave, then the resultant wave has larger amplitude and it is called constructive interference

Answer:

Non-uniform distribution of resultant intensity in the form of alternate bright and dark fringes when two waves of same frequency having a constant phase difference superimpose on each other is known as interference.

This distance between two consecutive bright or dark fringes is called fringes width. It is generally denoted by β.
