You can take any axis as internuclear axis

Let say if z-axis is chosen,as intermolecular axis ,no overlapping can take place between S and Px ,Py or Pz orbital . I.e, there is 0 overlapping.

Similarly,than the overlapp .We will look for the x and y . Similarly if we consider X-axis as intermolecular axis then ,for it will be 0 overlapping and we will look for the y and z axis .
