Interphase is the resting phase between successive mitotic divisions of a cell or between the first and second divisions of meiosis.
There are three phases in interphase:-
1. G1 phase - where there is synthesis of protiens needed for mitosis. But there is no replication of chromosomes.
2. S phase - where there is replication of DNA but the number of chromosomes remain the same.
3. G2 phase - where there is replication of cell organelles and is also the phase where the cell resumes the normal functions like cellular respiration etc.
I hope this helps you!

Answer:
✅non dividing metabolically activity prepratory prepared of growth period of a newly formed cell up to the beginning of its karyokinesis
the stage of interphase are :-
✅G1- phase:- G1 is the longest phases of interphase in this is and cell is metabolically active
✅s-phas:- synthesis of DNA take place and the chromosomes get duplicated .
✅G2-phase :- this is the shorter growth phases in which synthesis of DNA stop
