What is ionization theory ? How does it explain the conductance of electric current through solutions ?

Answer:

Electricity is conducted through a solution only in the presence of particulate matter or IONS in them. These ions are charged particles which move freely about in liquid solutions. Thus the ions in the solution are charged or excited when electricity passes through it.
