Hey friend,
Here's your answer,
Irony refers to the use of words to convey a meaning that is the opposite of their literal meaning.
Irony helps in bringing out the difference between reality and appearance, or between what is said and what is intended.
Irony helps us to know reality from pretensions.
Hope this helps!!!!

Hey there!! :)
Down here ⏬
- Irony is often a poetic device
- It refers to the use of words to convey a meaning that is opposite of thier literal meaning.
- For e.g. : In the poem, oh! I wished I had looked after me teeth, the poet once laughed at the false teeth, but, finally, it seems like she has one. That's a irony.
Hope it helps <3
