if a real no. can not be written in the form of p/q , where p and q are integers and q is not equal to 0, then that no. is called irrational no.

An irrational no. is a part of Real No...... It is a no. which can't be expressed in the form of p/q, where p and q are integers and q is not equal to zero.......... For eg.---> √3, √5, √7 etc...
