irrigation is the method in which water is supplied to plants at regular intervals for agriculture .

1. Sprinkler System: This system is more useful on the uneven land where water is available in smaller quantity.

2.Drip System: In this system, the water falls drop by drop just at the position of the roots.

Irrigation is the method in which the water is supplied throughout the field. Types are: - drip, sprinkler, basin, canal etc.. The two methods of irrigation which conserve water are:: Sprinkler irrigation:: this irrigation is done by fixing the sprinklers in some parts of the field so that the water can be supplied throughout the field but not wasted. Drip irrigation:: this irrigation is done by fixing the pipes which has tiny holes so that the sufficient water can reach to the plant and no water is wasted Hope this helps!! Pls mark as brainliest....
