The election consultative parliament which was formed during the Revolution of 1905 under the rule of Tsar was known as Duma.
In the Duma , there existed a large number of trade unions and factory committees made up of factory workers.
After 1905, most of them worked unofficially.
So, they were declared illegal.
Then there were severe restrictions placed on political acts.
The First Duma was dissmissed within 75 days and they set up an another after 3 months .
