Isobars :-
Isobars are atoms of different in atomic no but have the same mass no.  example : 40k, and 40ca .

Isotope :-
One of two or more atoms that have the same atomic no (the same no of protons) but a different no of neutrons.
carbon 12, the protons and 6 neutrons, where as carbon 14 has 6 protons and 8 neutrons isotope of a given element typically behave like chemically.
