see man isoelectronic species are the elements which have different atomic no. But have same no. Of electrons.

eg- Ne, Na+, Mg+2, Al+3, F-, O²-

They all have same no. Of electrons i. e 10.

I hope this may help you.

shailja15: I have asked you about Isoelectronic ions
paulkundan07: Then take the example of Na+ Mg2+ O²- these all are ions
shailja15: pls explain in detail
shailja15: sry for disturbing u
shailja15: but I need to understand properly
paulkundan07: Either the word isoelectronic specis or ions means the same. In case of isoelectronic ions the different ions should have same no. Of electrons as examples taken are ( Li+ Be+2. They hace atomic no. 3 and 4 but have same no. Of electrons that is 2.) (cl- K+ here both have same electrons that is 18 but have different atomic no. 17 and 19)
shailja15: okkk
shailja15: Thnku
shailja15: I understood now
shailja15: most Thnku
