ABOUT ISOTHERMAL PROCESS :-

IF THE CHANGES ARE TAKING PLACE IN A SYSTEAM IN SUCH A WAY THAT TEMPERATURE OF THE SYSTEM REMAINS CONSTANT THROUGHOUT THE CHANGE ,THEN THE PROCESS IS SAID TO BE ISOTHERMAL.

✍ where P is the Pressure and V is the volume

✍ Example : Melting of Ice and boiling of water.

❁ Conditions to obtain isothermal process :

✍ There must be conducting path between the system and surrounding.

✍ The changes should take place very slowly.
