isotopes are the chemical elements that has the same chemical properties (the same atomic number) but differs in mass. Isotopes have the same number of protons and electrons, but a different number of neutrons.

Isotopes are variants of a particular chemical element which differ in neutron number, and consequently in nucleon number. All isotopes of a given element have the same number of protons but different numbers of neutrons in each atom.

hoping helps you
