that is

first we've to find his expenses

$\frac{1}{5} \times 10000 \\ = 2000$

therefore he spends Rs 2000 on house rent and

now

$\frac{3}{10} \times 10000 \\ 3\times 1000 \\ = 3000$

therefore he spends Rs 3000 on clothing

and now

2000+3000=4000

therefore

10000-5000=5000

therefore he saves Rs 6000 a month
