This question is based on Act 4, Scene 1 of the Merchant of Venice written by William Shakespeare. This scene focusses on a conversation between Antonio, Bassanio and Shylock.

During the conversation, Antonio asks Bassanio to only be mournful about the loss of a friend. Antonio also asks Bassanio to not regret about Antonio upon Bassanio's debt to Shylock as Antonio himself does not regret the action.
