\huge{\bold{\underline{\underline{Given:-}}}}

A semicircle with radius 7cm.

\huge{\bold{\underline{\underline{To\:Find:-}}}}

Area and perimeter of the given figure.

\huge{\bold{\underline{\underline{Solutionn:-}}}}

1.) Area :-

Area of semicircle =

 \frac{1}{2}  {\pi \: r}^{2}

Using the formula =

 \frac{1}{2}  \times  \frac{22}{7}  \times 7 \times 7

 \frac{22 \times 7}{2}

 \frac{154}{2}

 {77cm}^{2}

2.) Perimeter :-

Perimeter of semicircle =

\frac{1}{2} (\pi \: d )+ d

Now, since the radius of semicircle is 7cm

∴ it's diameter = 2*7 = 14 cm (D = 2R)

Using the formula =

 \frac{1}{2}  \times  \frac{22}{7}  \times 14 + 14

 \frac{22 \times 2}{2}  + 14

22 + 14

36cm

So,

Area is = 77cm²

Perimeter = 36cm
