1.) Area :-

Area of semicircle =

$\frac{1}{2} {\pi \: r}^{2}$

Using the formula =

$\frac{1}{2} \times \frac{22}{7} \times 7 \times 7$

$\frac{22 \times 7}{2}$

$\frac{154}{2}$

2.) Perimeter :-

Perimeter of semicircle =

$\frac{1}{2} (\pi \: d )+ d$

Now, since the radius of semicircle is 7cm

∴ it's diameter = 2*7 = 14 cm (D = 2R)

Using the formula =

$\frac{1}{2} \times \frac{22}{7} \times 14 + 14$

$\frac{22 \times 2}{2} + 14$

$22 + 14$

$36cm$

So,

Area is = 77cm²

Perimeter = 36cm
