What is IVF.Why is it done?

IVF is the process of extracting the egg cell from female and sperm from male and allowing them to fuse in a test tube. The resulting zygote is inserted into the female's body. It is done because sometimes the woman's fallopian tubes are blocked, and hence fertilization can not place.

IVF simply means In vitro fertilization. It is a situation where by the egg is fertilized by the sperm outside the body of the woman. It is a treatment donf for women who are infertile
