The substance which is jelly type and is present in the cells is the Cytoplasm.

REASON :

The reason of cytoplasm being jelly type is that it is a membrane which is semi permeable. Because of this character cytoplasm is like jelly.

OTHER POINTS :

1. It serves as the place for the working of different organelles present in the cell.

2. Also, it helps to give the cell a shape.

3. Metabolic activity like glycosis occurs in the cell cytoplasm.
