Judicial Review➙ The power of the Supreme Court of the United States to review actions taken by the legislative branch & the executive.

❖ It interpret the constitution & to declare any such law or order of the legislature & executive.

❖ This power was established in the United States in the Supreme Court case Marbury V. Madison.

❖ The court can only review a law that is brought before it through a law suit.

❖ It gives courts the power to declare an action of the executive or legislative branch to be unconstitutional.
