The judiciary is the organ of goverment that interprets the law . It applies the law :
- To punish lawbreakers.
- To settle disputes.
- To protect the citizens' rights , including Fundental Rights , &
- To prevent the violation of the constitution .
The judiciary consist of a system of courts. A person accused of an offence can be punished only if proved guilty in a court . Depending upon the offence, the guilty can be finished, sent to prison or even sentenced to death .
